Spud

This super adorable, handsome little fella was knit by Nancy. Spud is part of the Knit-and-Read Spud & Chloe at the farm story book, by Susan B. Anderson.

Spud is knit-up out of the soft, machine washable wool and organic cotton Spud & Chloe Sweater.

These gorgeous Firelight Socks were designed by Cailan Williams. She used 1 Skein of the Solstice Luna Sock yarn in firelight.

A great beginner sock, started from the toe up.

Cafe Scarf

Tricia Maynard designed and knit this gorgeous, colorful Cafe Scarf out of 2 skeins of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Bulky in Rockwell and used US 15 straight needles.

Buga Baby Bunting

Scooter Pup

Meet our newest store canine - Scooter Pup! He's cozy soft because he's crochet out of Rowan Cashsoft DK in Cream and Ballad, with his shirt edging in Rowan Purelife Organic Wool Tannin. Linette used the pattern out of the Cute Little Animals by Amy Gaines.

Modern Baby Bonnet

New employee Simi was so excited to work on her first store project that she took it home and finished it in one night. (Which she really didn't need to.) Her Modern Baby Bonnet from "Vintage Knits for Modern Babies" is crafted out of one skein of the softest Rowan Cashsoft Baby DK in Sand.

Everyday Hoodie Everyday Hoodie

Eager to work with our new Blue Sky Alpacas worsted cotton, Nancy created this lovely Everyday Hoodie.  The pattern is available through Blue Sky Alpacas, and is designed by Sylvia Hager.  Nancy used (8) skeins in the Drift colorway.

Spiraluscious Cowl Spiraluscious Cowl

Yet another Tricia project, (I really don't knit very fast, I'm just updating today).  This a knitspot pattern by Anne Hanson.  I wanted a sample out of our new solstice starlight cashmere silk and decided this would be my first cowl.  Now I'm hooked on the yarn and this pattern.  The edging seems like it will come out backwards, but go with it--it all works out fine.

Vintage (Not Velvet) Scarf Vintage Scarf

Another Tricia project...this is the Vintage Velvet Scarf by Lisa Daniels from Scarf Style by Pam Allen.  There was no way I was going to felt this beautiful Handmaiden Silk Bamboo yarn, but I love the reversible cable pattern.  I used 2 skeins in the Ivory colourway and US 7 needles.  Love it, love it!

Rose & Crown Scarf

Tricia knit this up as part of the new solstice pattern line.  The rosebud pattern is from Barbara Walker.  Knit out of one skein of Handmaiden's luscious Camelspin, this is an intermediate lace pattern with an easy picot-edge. Find the pattern here

Thermis

This Irish-inspired cowl was whipped up by Cailan based on KrisKnits' Thermis pattern.  Cailan used one skein of Handmaiden's 4 Ply Cashmere in "Cedar" on US 4 needles.  A perfect, quick, little knit project just in time for St. Patrick's Day!

Tendril SweaterTendril

Mom Nancy made this beautiful sweater to be used as a shop sample.  She used (9) skeins of Rowan Purelife Organic Cotton DK in "Chlorophyll."  The pattern was written by Martin Storey for Rowan and appears in RYC's Book 18, Nature.

Ocean Currents ScarfOcean Currents

Tricia made this scarf from one skein of Zen Yarn Garden's Tencelicious sock yarn in our exclusive Dublin Bay colorway!  From the book Ocean Breezes: Knitted Scarves Inspired by the Sea by Sheryl Thies - Tricia used US 4 needles.  This was a nice, relaxing project to knit in front of the TV during the holidays.
