This 4 piece set (pullover, hat, booties & blanket) is worked with sport weight yarn at 6 stitches per inch. For a softer feel, the blanket is worked with the same yarn using larger needles, so the gauge is 5 sts = 1". You can see from the photograph that you can use solid or variegated yarn. A set could also include mixing solid & variegated.

Sweater, Hat, and Booties Materials:

• 550 (575, 600) yards sport weight yarn

• 3 buttons, stitch holders, large tapestry needle, and markers

• 16" circular US 4 for neckline and 16" circular US 6 & a set of five DPNs in US 6 for hat (or size needed to obtain gauge).

Blanket Materials:

• 900 yards sport weight yarn used at a larger gauge. For longer blanket, add 175 yds for each 6" in length.

• 24" circular US 7, or size to obtain gauge.
